Specialists in Norman History will speak about a variety of norman inflences in Leinster, followed by, a round the table discussion on ‘Protecting, developing and exploiting our medieval heritage’, chaired by Dr Edward Coleman.

  • Mr. Coilín Ó Driscoill: ‘William and Isabel Marshal in Ireland’
  • Dr Margaret Murphy: ‘Farming for the market. Agriculture in the Lordship of Leinster’
  • Mr. Damian MacGarry: ‘The Port of New Ross – a Medieval and Early-modern Mercantile Hub.’
  • Mr. Paolo Virtuani: ‘The Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem in Leinster (XII – XIII Century).’

 

There is no fee for the conference
