Kildare Biodiversity Conference (Saturday 14th October)

Kildare Wildlife Rescue, in partnership with Kildare County Council, is hosting this one-day event . The conference will offer a platform to individuals, organisations and groups, engaged in the area of biodiversity in Kildare.

The objectives of the conference are as follows:

  • Learn from each other, and showcase best practice and case studies
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Identify gaps in skills and knowledge
  • Network and establish connections to address these gaps on individual and community levels.
  • Ultimately, improve action on the ground for biodiversity across County Kildare and further afield

The day will be filled with presentations by local guest speakers, who are specialists in various aspects of biodiversity, wildlife conservation and protection, habitat management and community action plans to name just a few. There will be ample networking opportunities throughout the day, and the event will conclude with a panel discussion where attendees can ask questions and make suggestions on how we can all work together for biodiversity within the County.
