Applications are now invited from members of the Society in good standing and students in third level institutions in Ireland for grants towards suitable projects to be carried out in 2014 in the categories of 1) Archaeological Fieldwork or 2) Historical Research. Individual grant applications to a maximum of €1,000 will be considered. Post-graduate students in Ireland are particularly welcome to apply for grants under this scheme for work related to their theses.
