The Rector and Select Vestry of St David’s Church, Naas, and the Follies Trust invite you to a lecture by Andrew Tierney on “Pyramids and Follies in Central Leinster” in St David’s Church, Naas on Thursday 30th January 2020 at 8pm.
There will be a reception at 7:30pm, and all are welcome.
This lecture will raise awareness of the unique and important pair of pyramid mausolea in Maudlins burial ground and the need for their conservation. The Follies Trust in partnership with the Vestry, the RCB and Kildare County Council has already undertaken a survey of the structures.
No charge for the lecture, but donations to the conservation of the mausolea would be much appreciated.
