Annual John Devoy Memorial Event
Naas Library on 18 September at 7.00 p.m.
It is a lecture entitled William Roantree, Kildare Fenian and the Devoy Connection. It will be delivered by Michael Kenny. Michael is an historian and former Keeper, Art and Industry Division at the National Museum of Ireland. His book, ‘Brothers in Arms’ The remarkable story of William and James Roantree, from Leixlip, Co. Kildare was launched in Leixlip Community Library in February.
