“Seefin Passage Tomb: Wicklow Mountains National Park”

Meet at Kippure House – €5 charge payable for parking.

This is a strenuous, long walk, and it could be cold on the mountain.

Appropriate boots and clothing required.

Annual Excursion: County Laois

Picnic in the park at Stradbally Hall, by courtesy of the Cosby Family.

Followed by a tour of the House.

Proceed to Oughaval Church, a monastic site dating to the 6th century,

followed by another site visit in the area.

Supper at the Killeshin Hotel.

A visit to this Royal site for the Kings of Leinster, guided by Conleth Manning (President). Close to the N78 Kilcullen/Athy road, just south of Kilcullen. Please park safely by this busy road. Boots or other suitable footwear desirable.
