Annual Seminar – ‘The End of the Great War and Ireland in 1918’

The County Kildare Archaeological Society’s seminar: ‘The End of the Great War and Ireland in 1918 will take place in the Killashee House Hotel on Saturday 10th November 2018, a mere six weeks away.  This seminar, through its contributors, will reflect on the enormous issues facing Ireland, 100 years ago and the Society is honoured to have Diarmaid Ferriter give the keynote lecture.  The seminar is an integrate part of the National Calendar of Events already published in the Irish Times and is being supported by Kildare County Council and the County Kildare Decade of Commemoration Committee.  The Society wishes to appeal to its members and friends to support this historic event by their attendance and early booking to secure their seats and provision of lunch.
