Visit to the Military Museum and WW1 Trench Complex at the Curragh

Curragh Military Museum

Meet at O’Donnell’s Shop, Curragh Camp at 3 pm.

Directions to O’Donnell’s Shop: Approaching the Curragh Camp from Junc 12 on the M7, go past the Watertower on right and church on left. Continue to the bottom of the hill, O’Donnell’s Shop is on the left. Park past O’Donnell’s shop.

WW1 Trench Complex

Leave Museum 4 pm.

Directions to Trench Complex: Continue out of the Camp for 1k. Turn LEFT at crossroads. Continue for 3.6k to entrance to The Curragh B&B on your RIGHT. Park on the LEFT hand side of the road.

The ground at the trench complex is rough in places and stout footwear is advised. You can also expect a certain amount of sheep manure on the ground so bring a change of footwear.
